Julie Hall Cole lives in Milwaukee with her husband, Tom, and dog, Jayme Allen. She re-entered the writing world after a 20-year hiatus. Before her procrastination period, she worked as a copywriter at The Columbus Dispatch and held several corporate communications positions. She enjoys performing in story slams and has taken stand-up comedy and improv classes. Julie holds a BA in journalism from The Ohio State University and an MFA in creative non-fiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She has two adult children, Abby and Ben.
